BACKGROUND INFO: Belouis Some People mixed by the great Thompson and Barbiero (producers of - among many others - Open Your Heart by Madonna!). A track that just loves your equipment and makes it impossible to forget those amazing sounds and themes from the eightees. Some people make some very cool videos going with some of their records ;) We couldn't decide what version to encode, so we picked the one on the B-side, which we figure will be most appreciated. If you want the other version, try the server archives. You can still buy other 12 inch vinyl editions of this track at CD Europe by the way. Top-voted track on this page off and on througout the last year..

12" A - 45 giri | Charisma Records | (P) 1984

BACKGROUND INFO: 115+BPM The improved but somehow almost forgotten followup of Hey You, Rocksteady Crew. Again, the sound of the early eightees captured in one track. A production very well done, not a note is off-key, which surprised us all back then since everybody thought RSC were just a bunch of backspin breakdancers, not singers. This piece of vinyl has been played a lot, there is some distortion in the louder peaks, but other than that quality of this Charisma maxi-single is extremely high-profile. Warm vinyl harmonics radiating from the sizzling high frequencies, which in fact reached beyond the 44.1 kHz sampling rate!
